I went for a walk this evening to get a little exercise, a mile lap around my local park. It was raining a very fine, but full rain. Rounding the west end of the park I gazed to the east to see the perfect rainbow, I could even see where it touched the ground by the pond in front of the tree line, it was so close!
Walking and staring so blindly I spooked a flock of White Ibis’ into harmonized flight. It is not true, the pot of gold is not at the foot of the rainbow, it is all around us! – Peter Kuhn
