Ode to the Moon

Oh moon, oh moon,
I watch your face arise.
Peeking through the leafy boughs
Black lace upon an ivory thigh.

Oh moon, oh moon,
Seduce me with your glow.
Share tales with me of ecstasy
That man will never know.

Oh moon, oh moon,
My lover in the night.
I’ll hide with you behind the sun
‘Til evening lends us flight!
